Who do they think they are, Anger Management? Charlie Sheen isn't even on this show.

Then again, it's likely the massive episode count merely reflects how obsessed a certain segment of society is with anything that combines the words "celebrity" and "style." The "story" part might come off as a bit book-ish, but don't be put off by that.

Celebrity Style Story is a new series on E! that debuts Sunday on Canada Day. Coincidentally, Celebrity Style Story is the first original series commissioned by the current Canadian branch of E!

In each episode, a celebrity's sense of style is examined through the years, or, depending upon their age, through the decades. Vintage clips are used and experts are quoted as they identify trends, patterns, issues, progression and regression, and hits and misses.

Among the celebs on tap for the Celebrity Style Story treatment are Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Kim Cattrall, Demi Moore, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and -- presumably just to avoid some sort of sexual-discrimination lawsuit -- Ryan Gosling and Justin Bieber.

First up in the debut episode, however, is Jennifer Lopez.

According to Celebrity Style Story, it was at the Grammys in 2000 that J-Lo changed her fashion image forever. That was the night she wore a Versace jungle dress, cut way down below her navel, that fashion-industry folks still talk about today.

Non-fashion people such as myself remember it as the time J-Lo was virtually naked. "No one in this world ever saw her the same way again," says Joe Zee, creative director of Elle magazine.

Not all of Lopez's fashion choices have been so well received, though, and Celebrity Style Story points out a number of those, all in a quick and slick manner. If there's one thing the first episode of Celebrity Style Story was lacking was a fairly recent interview with Lopez, talking about her style choices. A number of interview clips with Lopez are shown, but most of them date back quite a few years. But hey, with 60 episodes, there's plenty of time to fine-tune the format.

The 'American Idol' judge - who has 18 fragrances, including the hugely successful Glow line - beat the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and Britney Spears to top the poll by Escentual.com, one of Britain's biggest online retailers of perfumes, cosmetics and grooming products.

Jennifer, 42, has made a staggering 50 million from the sales of her perfumes since launching her first one 10 years ago and her success doesn't show any signs of slowing down.

Escentual founder Rakesh Aggarwal said: 'J-Lo remains the queen of the scent industry. I am sure starring on 'American Idol' has helped sales. 'The celebrity perfume market is massive and fashion can change very quickly, sometimes literally overnight. We monitor it very carefully and are always looking for new trends among customers.'

The only British star to make the top 10 is glamour model and reality TV star Katie Price.

Jennifer Lopez has flaunted her famous body in an array of jaw-dropping swimsuits this week, and last night performed before thousands of fans in Rio de Janeiro.
But today the American Idol judge was looking to retreat from the spotlight. Reclining on a deck chair on the balcony of her hotel, the 42-year-old put her much younger boyfriend Casper Smart to work on her mission for privacy.

After flaunting her bod in an array of swimsuits on Brazilian beaches this week, Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the HSBC Arena to put her curves on display again during a concert in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Wednesday night (June 27). Following a grand entrance in a fuzzy tall hat and matching skirt made of marabou feathers, the "Dance Again" singer stripped down to a skin colored Zuhair Murad Couture bodysuit decked out with sparkly little gems and danced around onstage while belting out her songs. The performance comes as Jennifer took to Twitter earlier the same day to share some exciting news, tweeting, "Hey LOVE!RS!!! It's official — the ‪#DanceAgain‬ tour is going global! Check out the dates for my WORLD TOUR!"

After her trek through South and North America, J Lo will extend her 48-show tour throughout Europe and the Middle East this fall, marking her first ever global tour. Talking about the trek, the 42-year-old posted on her website: "Being on the road, covering so many cities in such a short period of time has been unbelievable. I never dreamed I'd see the world this way and I feel so blessed to have this opportunity."

Earlier this week, Lopez also announced that she will release a 13 track album with some of her greatest hits such as “Waiting for Tonight” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing". Hitting store shelves on July 24th, a deluxe edition with three bonus songs and a DVD featuring music videos will also be available. In the meantime, check out J Lo performing her classic hit "If You Had My Love" in a stunning red gown during her "Dance Again" concert at the HSBC Arena in Rio.

Fans can count on seeing Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Igelesias sing together when their co-headlining tour hits the road next month. They just don't know what the songs will be yet. "We're planning it, definitely," Iglesias told Billboard.com during a conference call with reporters to talk about the tour, which begins July 14 in Montreal and plays 26 dates before finishing Sept. 2 in Orlando, Fla., with Wisin Y Yandel opening. "Her show is so different to my show; that's what I think is going to be the cool combination. That's what I think fans are gonna appreciate. I think it's unexpected, and I've already seen what her show consists of, and I think fans are really going to appreciate that. And definitely, if we can combine that at one point, both of us together, it's gonna be fun for the fans."

There are some obvious possibilities, of course, including "Mouth 2 Mouth," from the re-released edition of Iglesias' 2010 album "Euphoria;" and Lopez's recent single "Dance Again," which Iglesias co-wrote and which provides the title track for a compilation she's releasing on July 24. But nothing is in stone yet. "We've been working on different things together for the past few months, maybe even more than that," said Lopez, who's currently on tour in South America. "Maybe like a year now we've been talking about doing something together. The tour was a natural thing that came out of our desire to do something together. As far as what we'll do on stage together...I'm coming back in a few weeks and we're going to get together and figure out exactly what we're gonna do."

Iglesias revealed that the two also have "a new song we're trying to figure out how to incorporate into the show" but added that he's open to anything. "We might be able to come up with something where I collaborate on a song that's... one of (Lopez's) or her on one of mine. We still have to figure it out. Or maybe at one point Jennifer and I do the dancing, which would be cool...I can actually bust a move."

Lopez, meanwhile, said that "Dance Again...The Hits," which also includes the new single "Goin' In" with Flo Rida, was inspired by the impending tour. "We had recorded some (new) songs and we just decided that, with the tour and everything, it might be the right time, since I'm going to perform all those songs right now, to do a great compilation," she explained.

Iglesias views the tour as the end of his "Euphoria" cycle. After it's finished, he said he'd like to "lay back a little and just try to finish and record some songs," although he says his next album has started to take a little bit of shape. "I'm starting to come up with stuff," he said. "It's taking me a while...and I don't know how much of it is going to be in Spanish or how much of it is gonna be in English. I need to come back and get in the studio and work... Right now I have a little more English than Spanish, so it's leaning more that way, but I'm not 100 percent sure. I'm at a point where if I don't feel 100 percent confident about the song or the album, I'd rather stay home."

According to Star magazine, Step Up 3D actor Smart has outrageous spending habits, a poor work ethic and believe it or not, another speeding ticket leaving Jennifer to insist if he doesn’t change his unruly ways, they should call it a day.

"Jennifer is finally listening to the warning calls from her friends and family, who have been telling her all along that Casper is using her," said a source to the magazine.

Last week, the couple were plagued by yet more controversy when a former dance partner of Casper's came forward to allege that he is secretly gay and only using Jennifer for her fame and fortune.

Jennifer Lopez has teamed with mobile entertainment startup Moonshark—launched by CAA and Qualcomm—to introduce its first app, a mobile finger dancing game for the iPad called DancePad.

Originally launched as Creative Mobile Labs, Moonshark was incubated at CAA as were web startups such as Funny Or Die, explained Moonshark CEO Matt Kozlov. For this venture, Moonshark intends to develop the creative—part of the plan is to reach out to the CAA talent pool—but hire developers to create the apps.

John Woo, with his production company Tiger Hill Entertainment, is already on board, developing a mobile game set for release toward the end of the year. And in the coming weeks, Moonshark plans to launch a comedic entertainment app in partnership with Mention Mobile and YouTube’s Philip DeFranco.

DancePad features 100 levels (the first 20 are free; the entire game is $2.99) and a soundtrack that includes Mayer Hawthorne, Vintage Trouble and the Bangerz.

Lopez is effectively acting in a producer capacity, and is involved in creative and marketing, Kozlov said. The app was originally conceived by Bounce House Games as an undergraduate project at the USC, and later developed by Triangle Studios.

But is J-Lo a little too demanding while on vacation? According to The Sun, the Latin princess has a custom fitted toilet seat cover and refuses to sit on any other throne. “Jennifer is a clean-freak and doesn’t like putting her bum on any toilet unless it’s on her own custom-made seat. It’s a cover made to fit any loo,” said a source.

However, mixed reports point to the toilet tale to be merely a rumor. It’s not completely insane to think J-Lo demands the royal treatment. In these photos from June 26th (Tuesday), Jennifer Lopez, boyfriend Casper Smart and a group of friends head out in a boat onto Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, a large lagoon in the south of Rio de Janeiro, for a day in the sun. Her day job as an American Idol judge notwithstanding, Jennifer Lopez returned to pop radio this summer with a splash. Her new single, "Dance Again," has been on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart since April 2, reaching the top on May 26. " 'Dance Again' is a big record," says Danyel Smith, former editor of Billboard magazine. "It's very savvy for Ms. Lopez."

"Dance Again" is the third collaboration between Lopez and the rapper Pitbull. Smith says J-Lo is smart to continue that partnership, because the Miami rapper has remade himself into a huge draw for younger audiences. "Pitbull was an OK rap artist — he had a hit here and a hit there," Smith says. "Somehow, he has reinvented himself as a sort of Latin-dance superstar. He sells out all over the place. He puts on huge, Vegas-style shows that sell out. And now he drops two or three verses on a song, and it's on its way to the top of the charts."

If J-Lo and Pitbull sound dated, there's always the electro-pop duo LMFAO.

"Sexy and I Know It" has been all over the charts since it came out last fall. Even after all these months, it hit No. 1 on the Billboard Ringtones Chart this week. "Even if songs fall off of a genre chart or a pop chart, they can still be really popular on the ringtone chart," Smith says, "because they will have hit a particular nerve."

Hitting a nerve is exactly what LMFAO has done, particularly with teenagers. "These guys are all about partying," Smith says. "They wear crazy clothes, and they talk about dancing and partying all night, and if you're 14 and you haven't done any of that yet, these guys are your heroes."
