Lopez Bumped Into Back-Up Plan Writer At Bootcamp
Jennifer Lopez knew she was destined to play a mum-to-be in The Back-Up Plan when she met the film's screenwriter at an aerobics class.
The actress/singer was a new mum when she signed up to play an unlucky-in-love woman starting a family and she still wasn't sure about the role when fate brought her and the writer, Kate Angelo, together.
Lopez explains, "So much of the movie was art imitating life, because I had just gone through the pregnancy so it was fresh in my mind - and the character is conceiving twins through artificial insemination.
"Kate had also just been through a pregnancy and we met at this aerobics bootcamp class. She comes up to me... and she said, 'Hi, I'm Kate, I wrote The Back-Up Plan. I just had a baby too.'
"It was perfect and so fresh in our minds that we really fought with the guys sometimes about what was important for women going through that in real life."

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez had to spend two hours onboard an airplane on the runway at Moscow's Vnukovo-3 Airport over problems with the luggage of her musician husband Marc Anthony. The incident occurred Sunday night. The singer couple was unable to get off the plane for two hours after landing because customs detected a dagger in Anthony's suitcase.
The couple arrived in Moscow along with model Naomi Campbell and her Russian fiance Vladimir Doronin in Campbell's private aircraft to celebrate her 40th birthday.
Naomi and her future husband, as good hosts, did not hesitate to stay with their friends and keep them company while customs agents looked through the luggage.
The couples went their separate ways in the wee hours - Campbell and Doronin to their downtown apartment, while the wedded songsters checked in at the Ritz, online daily Life News said.
"They were taken in a Rolls-Royce, as Jennifer had personally ordered," one of the entertainers' bodyguards said.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are among the guests invited to a charity gala organised by Campbell and Daria Zhukova, wife of Russian magnate Roman Abramovich, coinciding with the top model's birthday.

The actress has been married three times, with her unions with waiter Ojani Noa and dancer Cris Judd both ending in divorce. In June 2004 she wed singer Marc Anthony, and the pair have two-year-old twins Max and Emme. They are blissfully happy, and Jennifer says their relationship has taught her what being in a partnership is truly about.
“It’s true. It’s the first time I’ve felt the two of us are working for a relationship – really building something,” she said. “My first two marriages were short-lived and we never worked out what the issues were. We didn’t even get that far. “This is definitely my first real marriage.”
Jennifer is quick to insist she isn’t criticising her previous husbands. They remain an important part of her life, she just thinks she was a different person when she married them both. She now puts more effort into her relationship, explaining it means so much to her she doesn’t mind working hard to make it better.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will renew their vows this year for their sixth wedding anniversary in a big ceremony at their California home.
The couple married in 2004 and renewed their vows again in 2008. Anthony wants to have another big bash to prove the critics wrong, who thought their marriage wouldn't last long.
He tells Us Weekly magazine, "We realized the bets in Vegas (on whether their marriage would last) stopped at five years, so we're really looking forward to this one. This is a big anniversary."
