FOX will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an historic look back at the groundbreaking and irreverent shows that have defined the network since its first signal transmission on April 5, 1987. The star-studded evening will include talent from both past and present FOX series and reunite cast members from some of your favorite shows.

Take a walk down memory lane with the network responsible for launching the careers of Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston; not to mention turning 90210 into the most famous zip code in the world and adding the word “D’oh” into the English language. Among the series to be featured will be “Arrested Development”, “Beverly Hills, 90210”, “In Living Color”, “Married With Children”, “That ’70s Show” and “The X-Files”.

FOX’s 25TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL is executive-produced by Don Mischer and Charlie Haykel. Juliane Hare to serve as producer and Louis J. Horvitz will direct the special.

The separation -- and that's all it is legally, since neither Marc Anthony nor Jennifer Lopez has actually filed for divorce since splitting six months ago -- is getting particularly ugly, with Anthony saying his estranged wife needs to see a psychiatrist, according to RadarOnline.com.

Anthony, 43, who sources say is less than pleased that Lopez, 42, is dating 24-year-old backup dancer Casper Smart, claims the "American Idol" judge needs help to determine why she goes straight from one relationship (that would be with him) to another (that would be with Smart).

And Anthony knows a little about the tendency, given that right after Lopez and Ben Affleck split, she started dating Anthony. "Jen is very serious about him (Smart; although still not serious enough to file for divorce)," a source says, "and it makes Marc extremely jealous."

Not that Anthony, who has sold more than 12 million albums, is just sitting around. Instead, he's been dating Venezuelan model Shannon de Lima, who is the same age as Smart.

Singer Jennifer Lopez will reprise her role as a judge on the 'American Idol' and says that the singing reality show is 'hard' to work on.

For the 42-year-old, it was tough to deal with the talent show in her first season, but it did not put her off returning for another season. 'It's so funny because I was such a fan of the show in the beginning, so I thought I pretty much knew what the show entailed,' shopwbizspy.com quoted Lopez as saying. 'I discovered that live TV is tiring so that was a big thing. That's why I marvel at (host) Ryan Seacrest. When I think about how he gets up at three in the morning, I think, 'If he can do it, I can do it'. But we still have fun. We have amazing talent so that always makes it exciting,' she added.

Jennifer Lopez is fighting for a leading role in Mark Wahlberg’s controversial drug trade movie Cocaine Cowboys, according to The Fighter star himself. The actor is hoping to shoot the film in Miami, Florida this summer and admits Lopez is chasing the role of ‘Godmother’ Griselda Blanco “like crazy”.

He tells satellite radio show Sway in the Morning that he’s just waiting for a final script before announcing who will join him in the project about the drug trade that swept through southern Florida in the 1970s and 1980s.

And he isn’t surprised Lopez is so interested in the role of Blanco – because it could be her ticket to an Oscar nomination.

He says, “It’s one of those characters that will go down in history… If I could play Griselda, I would. That’s Academy Award (material) right there.”

Wahlberg has developed a reputation as a lucky charm for Oscar hopefuls after his The Fighter co-stars Melissa Leo and Christian Bale both won Best Supporting honors at the Academy Awards last year.

The entertainment world received some exciting news this weekend as Beyonce welcomed her first child, Blue Ivy Carter. We caught up with fellow music icon Jennifer Lopez, who just heard the happy announcement, and the mother of two lavished her praise on the new mom. "The best part of [Beyonce's] life is about to begin," said Lopez fondly. "I just wish her the best. I know she's going to love it and be a great mom."

Lopez was out and about this weekend, making the rounds at the FOX TCAs to promote a brand-new season of American Idol, which will air in a few weeks with a special two-night premiere on January 18 & 19.
Along with fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, JLo battled the big rumor of the day, gossip that host Ryan Seacrest was on his way out. "Is he going somewhere?" asked JLo in confusion, which was followed up quickly by Randy with a concrete answer; "[Seacrest] ain't going no where."

Singing reality competitions may be all the rage, but the folks at “American Idol” aren’t worried about competing with anyone. “This show’s a phenomenon. ‘American Idol’ is the gold standard of this stuff,” FOX President of Alternative Programming Mike Darnell said on the “American Idol” panel during the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena on Sunday.

When a reporter brought up Simon Cowell’s newcomer to the block –“The X Factor” – which also features former “Idol” judge Paula Abdul, current “Idol” judge Randy Jackson said his show is standing strong. “Simon and Paula are dear friends of ours… I think that ‘Idol’ is still the best TV of its kind anywhere, and we invented this whole game and everyone’s kind of copying it,” Randy said, referring to shows like “The X Factor” and “The Voice,” which were brought up numerous times during the TCA panel. “We wish him well.”

Season 11 of “American Idol” brings the return of the entire “Idol” judging panel – Randy, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, and the lone lady of the bunch said fans can expect more of the same from the group, including her emotions, which were so prevalent last season in the audition rounds. “It hasn’t changed, we’re still the same people. I’m still an emotional person… We’re a little bit more comfortable, we’re still having fun,” she said. “We have amazing talent so that always makes it more exciting.” “There are more dresses this season,” Ryan Seacrest chimed in, referring to his co-star’s fashions.

Steven revealed that behind the scenes, his life has changed since appearing on “Idol,” despite his superstar rock ‘n’ roll status. “[Last season] it wasn’t really accepted up front [with the rock community], mostly from my own bandmates because they didn’t know what was going on with the Aerosmith thing at the end. But it’s brought younger kids to our music anyway,” he said, noting Aerosmith sales last year were up 260 percent.

Additionally, the rocker said it’s been hard for him to now step out in public. “It’s like, ‘Really?… I can’t go anywhere anymore,” he said.

Much talk has been made about the future of host Ryan, who will wrap up his contract with “Idol” at the end of the season, but he hinted he wants to stay with the show should contract negotiations work out. “I love this television show and I’ve been part of it for so many years, I can’t imagine not being a part of ‘American Idol,’” Ryan said. “We love Ryan,” Mike chimed in. “I can’t imagine the show without him.”

The panel also stood behind “Idol’s” Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery, referencing his success as being greater than winners of other talent shows like “The Voice’s” Javier Colon. “I think the only three artists that are bigger [than Scotty McCreery] are Adele, Rihanna and Gaga,” Randy said.

Jennifer will be balancing a multitude of jobs as she resumes her “Idol” duties this season, including producer work on “Que Viva!,” actress and fashion designer, and she said being a working mom is turning out all right.

“They are so little and cute. It’s a juggling act, just like any, you know, single mom, it’s just balancing everything out and making sure they’re OK,” she said of her nearly 4-year-old twins Max and Emme. “They come first… They feel loved happy and… they are, the most important thing in my life.”

Jennifer Lopez would be open to helping her former “In Living Color” boss, Keenen Ivory Wayans, with the upcoming return of the sketch comedy, set to happen on FOX this spring. “It’s what?” Jennifer said, when AccessHollywood.com asked her if she’d want to be a part of the show, which returns with an updated version of the sketch comedy, in two half-hour specials in Spring 2012.

“Oh my God, I didn’t even know! That’s awesome,” she told Access on Sunday after the Television Critics Association Winter Session panel for “American Idol” of “In Living Color” being revived. “I haven’t heard from [Keenen], but if he called me and wanted me to do something, that would be awesome,” Jennifer said.

Jennifer said she’s remained grateful to Keenen for giving her such a great start and encouragement in her younger days when she was a Fly Girl. “I owe Keenen a lot. From the beginning of my career, he always believed in me, he always was constantly putting in my brain, ‘You’re gonna be a star, you’re gonna be a star, do you know that?’ And he was a mentor to me so I wish him the best with that,” she added.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, original creator and executive producer Keenen will host the new episodes.

The specials will feature young talent, musical performances and special guests. “In Living Color” originally aired between 1990 - 1994 on FOX.

Jennifer Lopez's estranged husband Marc Anthony has gone public with his new girlfriend, despite reportedly being angry over her romance with dancer Casper Smart.

The singer was said to be fuming that J.Lo had been parading her new toyboy around their two young children, but it seems he has decided to move on and has found himself a new girlfriend.

Marc is dating Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima who he can be seen kissing in a photo he posted on his Facebook page. He also wrote her a message to Shannon on Twitter in Spanish, which in English translates to: "To Shannon, my statue of liberty. Kisses baby!"

Meanwhile, Jennifer was seen in Miami celebrating the New Year with Casper and her twins Max and Emme.

"My boyfriend, Taylor, really likes my butt!" Heather Morris has said. To score a dancer's body like hers, try Piloxing. During the hourlong class (a mix of Pilates, boxing and dance) that the 5-foot-8 Glee star takes three times a week, "we do moves where you balance on one leg and lift the other," says Cortney Gornall, an instructor at V Pilates Studio in L.A.'s Toluca Lake. "That engages the butt muscle and works the inner and outer thigh, giving you a well-rounded butt."

Sculpt Amazing Arms Like Cameron Diaz

"The more I work on my body, the better it gets!" Cameron Diaz, 39, has said. Luckily, guns like hers are within reach! The secret: thrice-weekly sessions of super-set moves -- like going from biceps curls into dumbbell kickbacks, or triceps press-downs into dips. "We focus on the core muscles, trainer Ary Nunez says of the martial arts- and dance-based workouts she does with the 5-foot-8 singer, 23. One sequence: Contract and release the ab muscles for three minutes straight. After three sets, do 32 alternating lunges, 32 squats and 32 knee lifts. "End by holding the plank position for three minutes three times," says Nunez. "Do it every day, and you'll see results!"

Get Lean Legs Like Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez may have the whole package, but her stems really stand out. "Dance is a big part of my life," says Lopez. "It's amazing for my legs!" The trick to the 5-foot-6 star's toned, not bulky, look: trainer Tracy Anderson's unique moves that target small muscles. (One to try: lie on your right side with the right leg bent and left leg in front of you. Lift the left leg and hold for a few seconds.) "You don't want to make your quads too big, like you would by running," Anderson says of the dance-based workout Lopez, 42, does up to six days per week. "It gives legs nice curves."

JLo hit up Valentino with no makeup, her hair pulled back in a tight bun .... and rocking grey sweats. The "Papi" singer, whose sweats read "I Am Light," is a big fan of the Peace Love World brand. What a great way to dress comfy and spread a positive message at the same time!

Wonder if Ms. Lopez is looking for after-Christmas specials? Hopefully her longtime manager Benny Medina (pictured above) was able to score some nice swag during their afternoon shopping spree.

We have a feeling that hanging with Benny probably isn't as much fun as cruising around with her younger beau Casper Smart. Just sayin'.

Gossip Cop report that Star magazine reveal: “Jennifer Lopez doesn’t waste time. “Her divorce from Marc Anthony has yet to be finalized,” the singer and ‘American Idol’ judge is “already talking about marrying” her younger beau, backing dancer, Casper Smart.” Sources told Star magazine “that as soon as the divorce goes through, she wants to run away with him and get married.” According to the same source the ‘Get On The Floor’ singer has finally found a guy that understands her, revealing: “J. Lo says Casper is the first guy who really gets her, and that he’s great with Max and Emme. Adding: “The more people interfere, the more adamant she becomes about tying the knot with Casper.” Gossip Cop have dismissed the rumours after contacting Jennifer’s representative who simply stated that the report was “inaccurate.”
