When it comes to her boyfriend Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez gets the royal treatment.
"He treats her like a queen," a source tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "Casper centers everything on Jennifer.”
Dating six months, the fast-moving couple – Smart moved into the Hidden Hills, Calif., mansion that Lopez shares with her 4-year-old twins Max and Emme at the start of the year – haven't let their 17-year age gap slow them down. (She's 42; he's 25.)
Still, some friends wish that the wedding-loving superstar – who split from singer Marc Anthony last summer – would take things slowly for a change.
A Lopez family source says some members of her inner circle "worry that Casper will take advantage of her. She has fallen so hard."
But the American Idol judge, who recently announced her plans for a summer tour that Smart will help choreograph, seems just fine with her reputation as a commitment-happy kind of woman.
At a recent press conference for her upcoming film What to Expect When You're Expecting, she laughingly summed up her view on love: "I'm a bit of a romantic, if you hadn't noticed."
And soon everyone will be able to watch the couple's chemistry: Lopez and Casper are scheduled to perform a sexy single together on American Idol Thursday night.

A South Auckland hip hop dancer is choreographing moves for one of the world's biggest pop stars, who herself sings about being "from the block".
Last month Parris Goebel got a phone call from Jennifer Lopez's agent asking if she would work with the superstar singer for her upcoming world tour.
Goebel is now in the midst of rehearsals and trying to keep her cool around the singer and American Idol judge whose hits include Jenny From the Block, and On The Floor.
Lopez, 42, last month announced a world tour for the northern hemisphere summer.
She was put on to Goebel through her choreographer boyfriend Casper Smart, who at 25 is almost half her age.
Smart showed her YouTube videos of the South Auckland dancer who at just 20 already owns two dance studios, one in Penrose, the other in Hamilton.
Father and manager Brett Goebel says his daughter's career took off when she formed the group ReQuest in 2007 which currently has nine female members.
She began dancing around age three, starting with jazz ballet before moving into hip hop around 14.
ReQuest has won world hip hop titles, starred on season six of the America's Best Dance Crew television series and some of their YouTube videos have earned hundreds of thousands of hits.
Goebel's first encounter with Lopez was when she landed in Los Angeles on April 30 and Brett says she'll be working with the singer most days.
"There are different rehearsal sessions, so there's some with just dancers, and then Jennifer will come in."
He says according to his daughter, Lopez is lovely and "down to earth"."She said she's passionate about music and dance. And she said Jennifer's key thing is people enjoy themselves when they hear her music."
Brett says he is ecstatic for his daughter but says she's put in the hard yards to get this far.
"She's worked hard for the last five years to get to this point, so she's pretty much reaping what she's sown."
He says her goal is to be one of the world's leading choreographers.
"That's no longer a long term goal, that'll pretty much happen in the next year."She wants to do music videos, tours and concerts, television. She just wants to do a variety of work."

“I definitely think being Latina has an influence on my style,” the 25-year-old beauty told Cosmo in the summer 2012 issue. “Latinas are really confident women so I think that that shows in what I wear.”
During her poolside photo shoot, Naya wore a multi-colored bikini top, red shorts and platform heels and gushed about her ultimate Latina role model.
“One of my biggest Latina role models is definitely Jennifer Lopez,” she revealed. “I look up to her. What she’s done with her life and career is awesome and I hope to do that one day.”
Naya is well on her way! She has already broken cultural boundaries through her portrayal as as network TV’s first Latina Lesbian teenager.

And that was the case when Anna got the chance to briefly meet and work with Jennifer Lopez on the set of their new movie What to Expect When You're Expecting, which hits theaters on May 18. The adorable actress sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and revealed that she was in fact "creeping" on J.Lo during a shoot in Atlanta, Ga.
"I worked mostly with Chace Crawford [but] everyone kind of interacted for a second because our storylines intersect,"Anna explained to Ellen of her co-stars, which include Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Brooklyn Decker, Dennis Quaid, Elizabeth Banks, and of course, J.Lo.
"There was one night where I crossed frame with Jennifer Lopez... and I was all excited," Anna continued. "They flew me into Atlanta just to film this one part and [Jennifer] was actually in the middle of her most intense scene in the movie where everything is sort of falling apart."
"So I was just there to do nothing in this scene and she was in the corner trying to stay in character and focused, and I was just sort of creeping on her like, ‘You’re so pretty, how are you doing that with your face? How are you doing that J.Lo? That’s crazy,'" Anna explained, blushing, as Ellen and the crowd broke into laughter.
"We met.... and obviously she was very lovely and then she went to do her thing, so I pretended to keep my distance," Anna confessed.

Mentoring the dancers on Wednesday's episode of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, choreographer Smart, 25, just so happens to be an expert on this week's theme: the music of Jennifer Lopez.
The six remaining dance crews -- "8 Flavahz," "Collizion," "Elektrolytes," "Fanny Pak," "Mos Wanted" and "RNG" -- will groove to songs made famous by Smart's girlfriend, 42, in an effort to advance to the next round.
To get the crowd pumped for Jennifer Lopez Week on ABDC, Smart -- who will soon choreograph his love's world concert tour -- leads a Lopez dance-off as MTV's Pauly D spins her hit "Get Right."

With two daughters at home, Chris Rock knows a thing or two about parenthood.
At the NYC premiere of What to Expect When You're Expecting Tuesday night, the father to Lola, 9, and Zahra, 7 (with wife of nearly sixteen years, Malaak Compton-Rock) opened up to Us Weekly about his costars' parenting skills.
"[Jennifer Lopez] is a great mom," he told Us, explaining it's easy to tell just from talking to her how much she cares for twins Max and Emme, 3. "We're on the set. We're talking," Rock shared. "You can tell who is into their kids and who's not."
On hearing that Lopez, 42--who is currently dating choreographer Casper Smart, 25--has expressed interest in having more kids, Rock joked he'd be more than willing to help her out with that endeavor. "I know!" he said. "I might get her pregnant."
