Lopez's movie fears Jennifer Lopez was wracked with nerves before heading back to work on her new movie - because she feared she had forgotten how to act during her maternity break. The actress/singer gave birth to twins Max and Emme last year (08), her first children with husband Marc Anthony, and put her career on hold to stay at home to nurse her babies. The star has now returned to work, filming The Back-Up Plan, but admits she was terrified about stepping on to the set. She tells America's Entertainment Tonight, "The few days before I got really nervous I was like, what if I forgot how to act?" But Lopez conquered her fears with the help of her young kids, by bringing them with her during the shoot. She adds, "I bring the babies to work with me. I love it. Honestly, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film. I wanted to do this film really badly and bringing my babies with me that first morning, I was like, 'Oh my God, they're with me, I'm making a movie, they're here!' It's great having kids on set. The album's title refers to the 6 subway line in New York City, which Lopez used to commute to work in Manhattan from her home in the Bronx during the early years of her career. The original title for On the 6 was Feelin' So Good since Lopez wanted the song "Feelin' So Good" to be the lead single instead of "If You Had My Love".

This was the first single which reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single Charts, and and stayed there for five consecutive weeks. The single was one of the most popular dance-pop singles of the summer of 1999, remaining on the top ten for fifteen weeks! The music video was directed by Paul Hunter. The video received four nominations at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards: Best Female Video, Best Dance Video, Best Pop Video, and Best New Artist. The song was written by Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins III, LaShawn Daniels, and Cory Rooney and produced by Rodney Jerkins. In her debut single, Lopez is on the brink of sealing a relationship with a man she is interested in. However, before they can become a couple, she lays out some ground terms: she won't tolerate cheating and she needs to feel true love or it's "got to end". She also wonders if he knew if his love was untrue, would he lie to her and still call her "baby".
