Lopez reaches settlement in dog case Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony have settled a court case with a woman who alleges she was injured by the couple's dog. The stars were sued last month (Nov09) by flight attendant Lisa Wilson, who claims she suffered serious back problems after the couple's German Shepherd, Floyd, knocked her over on the pair's private jet in 2006. They reached a confidential statement on Monday (21Dec09) - after Wilson's lawyer presented testimonies from two of the couple's former employees who were also allegedly attacked. A year after Wilson's incident, Floyd is said to have bitten the arm of the couple's personal assistant and bruised a housekeeper by headbutting her. Wilson's attorney William Cafaro maintains both unnamed workers were forced to seek medical help after the incidents. He tells the New York Daily News, "Both employees testified (in depositions) that the attacks were not reported to authorities." The personal assistant alleged the couple got rid of the canine after the attack, although singer Anthony testified he got rid of the dog because it was "high maintenance". The Jenny From The Block singer — who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February last year — says her high-powered dance routines help her keep in shape. “It’s the dancing, I don’t have time to work out with those two little munchkins at home,” Lopez told Fox News. “I get a lot of my inspirations from old musicals, I like to infuse it. After years of dating, Zoe has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she decides to go for it alone and has an artificial insemination. But everything does not happen as she plans after she meets Stan, a man with real possibilities. After hiding her pregnancy from Stan in the beginning of their friendship, Zoe finally reveals her secret and Stan commits fully and says he is in. After having dates which are full of pregnancy matters, they will face a real pregnancy test when both of them realize they really don't know each other outside of hormonal chaos and birth preparations. Taking the role of Zoe, Jennifer Lopez stars opposite Alex O'Loughlin who plays Stan. Also among the cast ensemble are Noureen DeWulf, Melissa McCarthy, and Michaela Watkins. Directed by Alan Poul, the movie will be dropped in theaters across the U.S. on April 16, 2010.

Jennifer Lopez's Allure Photoshoot Forget the rumors about requests for white flowers—Jennifer Lopez was all business and focused on reclaiming the spotlight at our cover shoot with photographer Michael Thompson at Lux Studio in New York City. Lopez arrived at the shoot balancing 17-month-old twins Max and Emme on each hip (with five-inch Christian Louboutin heels on her feet). She was thrilled to hear her single "Fresh Out the Oven," from her next album "Love?" which was playing in the background, and she sang along while she got her hair and makeup done (above, with hairstylist Oribe). Lopez requested Cuban food for lunch—rice, beans, chicken, and plantains—followed by a mini red velvet cupcake. "Part of my business is about being in shape and looking good. You can't lie to yourself about it. But I'm not the monster I used to be in the exercise department," she says. Still, she is, she says, "a big portion-control person." To give Lopez's hair volume and to eliminate frizz, hairstylist Oribe sprayed on Imperm�able Anti-Humidity Spray from his own line, then blew her hair dry with a round brush. He set her hair in hot rollers for more body and spritzed it with a finishing spray to hold the wave. "I wanted to do a tawny, bronzy look; anyone could create it at home," said makeup artist Scott Barnes. First, Barnes applied pinky-peach blush to Lopez's cheeks, then gold highlighter on her nose, cheeks, and brow bones. He then brushed a burgundy shadow on her eyelids, rimmed them with black liner, and added mascara. He kept her lips looking "natural and flesh-colored" with a gray-beige lip gloss. In addition to Love?, Lopez has a romantic comedy called "The Back-Up Plan", her first movie in three years, due out in 2010. She's a personal fan of the genre: "It can be so bad," she laughs. "I'm always trying to get [husband] Marc [Anthony] to watch with me, and he's just all about, like, documentaries and solving who the killer is in those cop shows." Lopez loves getting decked out for shoots and premieres. "I enjoy the glamour," she says. "I'm like every girl who wants a glamorous life, wants to play dress-up with a closet full of fun stuff and feather boas—and a chance to dream. If there is a prevailing theme in Lopez's life, it is that she has willed herself to be a star through focus, drive, and hard work. She always knew she had gifts, but not extraordinary ones. "It wasn't like it was with Marc [Anthony], who opened his mouth at age three and was blessed with a voice from God," she says of her husband. "I had to work at it, but I knew that once I had achieved it, people would respond to me in a certain way."
